A trio of candles cutting through the darkness

A trinity of candles cutting through the darkness

Prayer is standing face to face with God with undivided heart, mind and will.” Anthony Bloom

St. Cuthbert’s Oratory is a House of Prayer. We follow the rhythm of the prayers and welcome opportunity to pray for your requests,  cuthbertsprayer@gmail.com.

We carry all prayer requests to pause God, pausing and holding them before God.

A series of prayers and liturgies will appear here for use by visiting pilgrims.

Watch, dear Lord,

with those who wake, or watch, or weep tonight,

and let your angels protect those who sleep.

Tend the sick.  Refresh the weary.  Sustain the dying.  Calm the suffering.  Pity the distressed.

We ask this for the sake of your love.
